About Phil Eastman

Phil Eastman is the founder of Thriving Educators.

He has extensive experience in the education sector, having worked for over 30 years in Independent, Government and Catholic schools. During his time as an educator, he has taught across a wide range of year levels and undertaken a broad range of leadership roles – from student leadership roles, to curriculum, teaching and learning, staff development, Assistant Principal and Campus Principal.

A common thread through all of Phil’s work as a teacher and leader has been his heart to mentor and coach others - helping them to improve their professional performance, enhance their wellbeing and be equipped as leaders to themselves build cultures that are caring, collaborative and aspirational.

Establishing Thriving Educators enables Phil to continue this work as he provides Professional Supervision, Coaching and Mentoring services to school leaders and teachers.

Phil is a lifelong learner, with his formal studies including a Bachelor of Education, Master of Education (Leadership and Curriculum) and, most recently, a Graduate Certificate in Professional Supervision.
